Improvement of Mesh Atomizer Performance by Electrolytic Polishing

Piezoelectric atomization, which breaks liquid into tiny droplets, is widely used in aerospace, medicine, and health. Most research piezoelectric atomizers has increased the atomization amount by improving mechanical structure optimizing vibration characteristics. However, as core component of atomizer to realize using dynamic conical angle effect, micro-tapered hole on atomizing sheet not been deeply studied. To eliminate negative influence uneven burr caused machining process sheet, electrolytic polishing processing proposed this study improve quality holes. First, a theoretical model established. Second, diameter height are measured microscope, effectiveness removal holes verified. Lastly, relationship between determined through an experiment, guides revision model. The experimental results show that when 48,267° (the time 5 min), reaches maximum 5.202 mL/min, 3.93 times larger than untreated one. This demonstrates can effectively remove machining, provides guidance for sheets, will further number atomizers.
